Ferro Silicon Alloy Ferro Silicon Manganese

FeSiMn alloy, also known as Ferro Silicon Manganese, is a type of ferroalloy that is primarily composed of iron (Fe), silicon (Si), and manganese (Mn). It is commonly used as a deoxidizer and desulfurizer in the production of steel and other iron-based alloys.

The typical composition of FeSiMn alloy ranges from 60-75% manganese, 15-30% silicon, and 1-3% carbon, with small amounts of other elements such as phosphorus, sulfur, and iron.

FeSiMn alloy is added to molten steel during the steelmaking process to remove impurities such as oxygen and sulfur. It also acts as a powerful deoxidizer, helping to reduce the amount of dissolved oxygen in the steel. The addition of FeSiMn can also increase the strength, hardness, and wear resistance of the resulting steel.
